InschrijvenLooking for a wedding dress with long sleeves and a place where you can explore the options in person? At Ann & John Bruidsmode in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, we help you find a gown that reflects your taste and feels comfortable to wear. From a simple silhouette to a dress with lace and detailed sleeves, your preferences guide the appointment.
Our group includes three bridal shops: Ann & John Bruidsmode for designer collections, Bruidsmode Outlet Store for affordable new wedding dresses and Your Style Wedding Fashion for plus-size bridalwear from EU size 46. Each shop has its own collection and address.
You may love long sleeves without having decided on the rest of your gown. That is a useful starting point. Consider whether you picture a close-fitting dress, a gently flared skirt or a fuller bridal silhouette. Then think about how the sleeves should relate to that shape.
A slim sleeve can continue the clean lines of a fitted gown. A more voluminous sleeve can make the shoulders a feature of the design. Lace can connect the arms to a detailed bodice, while a plain sleeve allows the cut of the dress to take the lead.
You do not need to settle on one combination before visiting. Trying different designs helps you discover which proportions you enjoy wearing.
Are sleeves mainly a style choice, or are you looking for coverage? Do you prefer fabric close to your arms, or would you like more room? Would you want to remove the sleeves later in the day? Sharing these preferences helps your stylist choose suitable dresses.
If coverage matters to you, explain what that means in practice. Long lace sleeves can still reveal much of the skin beneath them. A lined sleeve creates a different effect and may also feel warmer.
Use our online collection to save a few favourite dresses. Our website uses Dutch filter labels: open ‘Filters’ and select ‘Mouwen’, which means sleeves. Check the photographs and individual descriptions, as the filter can include different sleeve lengths and styles.
Keep the brand and model name with each photograph. If one particular dress is the reason for your visit, contact the shop before travelling. The available samples and sizes can change.

Fixed sleeves are part of the dress itself. Their attachment affects how the bodice fits and how freely you can move your arms. This makes it important to assess the whole gown rather than looking at the sleeves separately.
Some designs offer detachable sleeves or a separate top. These can provide a change between the ceremony and reception, but the result depends on the dress. Ask which pieces belong to the design, whether they are included in the price and how they fasten.
If removable sleeves appeal to you, look at the gown with them attached and with them removed. Make sure you like the neckline and overall proportions in both versions. Ask whether you will need someone to help with the fastenings on your wedding day.
A cape, bolero and pair of detachable sleeves are different garments. They may offer similar coverage, but they will not necessarily create the same appearance or feel.
Your wedding dress needs to work when you greet your guests, sit down for dinner and raise your arms. During your appointment, gently bend your elbows, reach forward and take a seat. Notice whether the sleeves pull across your shoulders or lift the bodice.
Tell your stylist about any tightness, rubbing or restriction. The feel of lace, seams and embellishments matters just as much as the appearance of the fabric.
A neat cuff can be a beautiful finishing detail, but it also needs to be practical. Check how the sleeve closes and how comfortably your hand passes through the opening. If there are buttons or loops, ask how they should be handled when dressing.
Some sleeves can be adjusted, but the possibilities depend on the seam allowance, fabric and decoration. An embroidered edge or carefully placed lace motif may affect how an alteration can be carried out.
If you want sleeves added to a sleeveless gown, discuss this before making your choice. The bodice needs to support the proposed construction, and suitable material must be available.
Long sleeves are not limited to winter weddings. The fabric, lining and your own comfort preferences all matter. An indoor summer celebration and an outdoor autumn ceremony can place very different demands on the same gown.
Describe your plans during the appointment. Will you spend much of the day outdoors? Do you tend to feel warm? Would you prefer a removable layer? These details help us discuss suitable options.
Sheer lace or tulle should not be relied on for warmth in cold weather. If you will be outside for photographs or travelling between venues, consider whether you need an additional cover.
Across our three Eindhoven shops, the Ann & John Bruidsmode Group offers approximately two thousand square metres of bridalwear. This is the combined space of the group, with different collections in each location.
Our main shop is the starting point for exploring designer bridalwear and different bridal brands. Tell us that long sleeves are a priority and share any favourite models when arranging your visit.
For plus-size bridalwear from EU size 46, explore Your Style Wedding Fashion. When enquiring about a sleeved gown, mention your usual clothing size and the type of sleeve you would like. We can advise on the available options and the most suitable appointment.

Our outlet sells exclusively new wedding dresses, with the overall collection starting at €399. Prices for dresses with long sleeves depend on the model and availability; €399 is not a guaranteed starting price for this specific style.
Many outlet gowns are available from stock. If a suitable dress is available in an appropriate size, you may be able to take it home the same day. Allow time for any necessary alterations afterwards.

Our shops are based in Eindhoven and welcome brides exploring bridalwear across the region. Larger cities within the surrounding area include Helmond, Tilburg, ’s-Hertogenbosch and Breda.
If you are travelling from the wider region, including Nijmegen, Venlo, Roermond or Weert, contact us in advance about any specific gown you hope to try. Brides from nearby Veldhoven, Best, Geldrop and Valkenswaard are equally welcome.
Check your appointment confirmation before planning your journey. Ann & John and Your Style are on Aalsterweg, while the outlet is on Kruisstraat. Use the address of your booked shop when checking your route or public transport connection.
Let us know when booking that you would like to communicate in English. You can also send the names of your favourite dresses and any questions in advance, helping us understand what you are looking for.
The price of a long sleeve wedding dress depends on the complete design, including its fabric, construction and finishing. Set a budget for the gown and keep room for alterations, shoes, lingerie and accessories.
Share your wedding date when booking. If a dress needs to be ordered, there must also be enough time after delivery for alterations. If your date is approaching, ask about suitable gowns already in stock.
Before buying, clarify what happens next: where alterations will take place, which appointments may be needed and when you can collect the finished dress. This is especially useful if you are travelling from another city or country.

Yes, long sleeves can be combined with different necklines and back designs. Check the available collection and ask about models that offer the combination you would like.
Not necessarily. Coverage depends on the lace pattern and any underlying fabric. If you want your arms covered more fully, mention this when choosing dresses to try.
Sometimes, but this depends on the design, fabric and available seam allowance. Have the possibilities assessed before purchasing a gown that feels too tight around the arms.
